Satya Scholarship Program 2026-27 for UG Students: It is an initiative by the Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust, is a beacon of hope for aspiring students in Ludhiana. This merit-cum-means scholarship aims to provide 100% tuition fee coverage for deserving students pursuing undergraduate and integrated master’s degrees in Commerce, Engineering, and Medical fields at select colleges and universities in Ludhiana district. Eligibility Criteria of Satya Scholarship Program 2026-27

Applicants must satisfy all the eligibility conditions mentioned below:

  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board in Punjab.
  • Should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 12.
  • Must be taking admission in the first year of a 3-year to 5-year undergraduate or integrated master’s course.
  • Eligible Commerce courses include:
    • B.Com
    • BBA
  • Eligible Engineering & Technology courses include:
    • B.Tech
    • B.E. (All Streams)
    • B.Sc. Engineering
    • BCA
    • B.Arch
  • Eligible Medical & Health Science courses include:
    • MBBS
    • BDS
    • BPT
    • B.Sc. Nursing
    • B.Sc. Allied & Healthcare Courses
  • Students admitted to any of the 38 selected institutes in Ludhiana district are eligible.
  • Students from Ludhiana district admitted to any of the Top 50 NIRF-ranked institutions in India are also eligible.
  • The annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh.
  • Guardian income norms are applicable for orphan students.
  • Applicants should not be receiving any other educational scholarship simultaneously.

Preference will be given to:

  • Sportspersons
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
  • Orphan students
  • Children of single parents

Benefits of Satya Scholarship Program 2026-27

The Satya Scholarship offers comprehensive financial support to deserving students. The scholarship benefits include:

  1. Full Course Fee Coverage: The scholarship covers 100% of the annual course fees as per the selected institute’s fee structure. This includes tuition fees, laboratory fees, and other academic charges, excluding refundable charges like caution money or security deposits, which the students must bear.
  2. Reimbursement of Paid Fees: If a scholar has already paid any course fee before receiving the scholarship, the paid amount will be reimbursed to the scholar’s or their parent’s bank account.
  3. Hostel and Mess Charges: If a scholar is required to reside on campus, they may apply for hostel and mess charges reimbursement. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  4. Support for Future Scholars: Upon graduation and employment, scholars must undertake to support at least one student (at the school or college level) on a continuous basis, thereby giving back to society.
