Application Fee
There is no application fee required for filling out the online forms for the UP Scholarship 2023, both for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric (Dashmottar).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a school, college, or institute.
- Students in 9th and 10th grade are eligible to apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship Form.
- Students in 11th or 12th grade can apply online for the Post-Matric Scholarship Form. Any student except those in classes 9, 10, 11, 12 can apply for the UP Dashmottar Scholarship.
- For Post-Matric category, the annual income from all sources for OBC, Minority, and General categories must not exceed Rs. 2,00,000, while for SC/ST categories, it must not exceed Rs. 2,50,000.

- Caste certificate.
- Income certificate.
- Residence certificate.
- Non-refundable course fee receipt.
- Registration number from the current university/board (except for first-year students).
- Aadhaar card. Bank account linked with Aadhaar and seeded with NPCI.

- Active mobile number.
- Valid email ID.

How to Apply UP Scholarship 2023-24 at scholarship.up.gov.in Registration ?
- UP Scholarship Fresh Candidates: New candidates who have taken admission in 2023 in class 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & other Dashmottar courses such as UG/PG/Diploma/Certificate courses can apply with fresh details.
- Up Scholarship Status Renewal Candidates: Those candidates who were already enrolled in any school/college and applied for scholarships the previous year can renew their application with the previous year’s registration number and login ID.
- Arrange All Documents Before Applying Online for Scholarship If there is any confusion regarding the non-refundable amount, please contact your college or school or check your fee receipt.
- Within 3 days of completing the online application, you must submit your form to the respective school or college.
- Aadhaar card is mandatory for any scholarship.

The UP Scholarship login Correction/Edit window is open from April 26th to May 3rd, 2024. If there are any errors in your scholarship application form, you can correct or edit it during this period. Here’s how:
Step 1: UP Scholarship Login & Fee Reimbursement Online System
- Visit the official UP scholarship portal (Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System).
- Click on “Student” and select either “Postmatric login” for intermediate fresh/renewal or “other than intermediate fresh/renewal.”
- Log in using your registration number, date of birth, and password/verification code.
- Enter the captcha and submit.
Step 2: Start Making Corrections/Edit
- After successful login, check your scrutiny result displayed on the screen.
- To make corrections, click on the “Modify application after initial test” button.
- You’ll be redirected to the application correction page.
- Make the necessary corrections and submit the corrected online application again.
