Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme
To be eligible for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gender and Nationality: Must be a female Indian national.
- Course Enrollment: Admitted to the first year of a technical diploma or degree program at an AICTE-approved institution, or admitted to the second year through lateral entry.
- Family Income: Annual family income should not exceed ₹8,00,000 during the preceding financial year.
- Family Limit: A maximum of two female members per family are eligible for this AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme 2025.
NOTE:
Please be aware that additional financial support will not be provided for expenses such as hostel accommodation, medical treatment, or other incidental charges.
Furthermore, apart from the standard number of scholarships, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will also extend AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme 2025 benefits to all eligible female applicants who are residents of the following 13 Union Territories and North Eastern States, provided they submit a valid online application:

A total of 10,000 scholarships are available each year, with 5,000 awarded for diploma programs and 5,000 for degree programs. Selected students will receive a one-time scholarship of ₹50,000 per year for each year of their studies till the course completion.
