JavaScript Basics (Free edx Course) : Welcome to the JavaScripts Basics course offered by University of California Davis division of Continuing and Professional Education!
This course is designed for learners who have no previous JavaScript experience and covers the basics of the JavaScript language. It will introduce you to the ways in which JavaScript can manipulate content on web pages. We’ll start out by discussing the history of the language and begin to write your first scripts, create variables and arrays. In the second week, we will continue to build on the fundamentals you learned from the first week. In the third week, you will put all your new skills and knowledge to use through manipulating web pages by capturing events with JavaScript. In the final week, you will get to practice all the basic elements of JavaScript that you have learned throughout the course by creating a few interactive projects.
